The software sold on www.ok-korral.net are tested in semi-automatic with the help of the innovative software RIAN (render information automatic now) and GO-DRY (go dry).
The GO-DRY software solves one of the most boring and stressful problems of software developers, that is, when they test the application with development environments, such as Netbeans for the Java programming language or VisualStudio for the C # programming language, arrived at error the debugger of the development environment exits the test and it is necessary to start again from the beginning by replacing all the initial parameters and retracing the debug path up to the line containing the error, except then not yet having understood what the error is and starting all over again from scratch, cursing good luck … ..
With GO-TRY, the application is modified by inserting appropriate markers in lines of code that are neutral with respect to the application’s operation, but which allow the debugger of any development environment to return, leaving the error trap, very close to the line of code containing the error keeping all the parameters alive, therefore without having to set the initial parameters of the software application again. Obviously the source code of the modified application can be filled in and it takes just a few tricks to correctly perform the test in real time.
Once the debugging problems have been solved, with the application apparently well tested, the application is released in production and the customer, without fail, calls you on December 24th late in the evening or even on December 31st while you’re uncorking the champagne…. Tells you that pressing the X key goes wrong … But how? Didn’t always work? What happened?
This will not happen again.
The RIAN software (track, track in Irish) modifies the application code by inserting appropriate markers of the lines of code where the application has passed. Also in this case the markers are neutral with respect to the application. A log file is then created for each test performed. By compiling these files and comparing the markers with the total list of markers inserted in the application code, an intelligent comparison feature allows us to identify the untested lines of code: after the correction of the application and the re-execution of the RIAN software and of the whole process described above, when there are no more lines of code untested you can sleep peacefully! Quaffle the champagne they don’t call you!
Of course this does not save us from errors of analysis, if an application that had to produce tomatoes produces potatoes and works perfectly the problem is different….

Since they are software that can manage even those in charge of support activities, such as secretaries, it is believed that for a development group of a dozen developers only one installation of the two software will suffice. Obviously the application modified by the GO-DRY software is reported in the PCs of development of the programmers where the tests and the appropriate modifications are performed. Only after a certain number of changes is it necessary to regenerate the software code of the application with the GO-DRY product. Similarly for the RIAN product.
